Suppression policy of military rule in Myanmar:8 shots were fired on the demonstrators protesting against the coup; 8 killed; Accused of using ammunition

 


On Saturday, security forces opened fire on protesters protesting against the coup and night curfew in Myanmar. More than 8 people died in it. According to media reports, the incident occurred in Myanmar's largest city, Yangon, on Saturday morning. Three people died on the outskirts of the city. While three other protesters died in Mandalya city. All have died from bullet injuries.

In Thaketa township, security forces opened fire to disperse the protesting people. During this time, two people died of bullet injuries. All of them were demanding the release of the arrested protesters. According to media reports, the third demonstrator was killed in Hlyant Township. Here too a group of protesters were shot.


According to the Japan news outlet, the army has been accused of using ammunition , three people have also died in Mandalay in central Myanmar. Meanwhile, the security forces reportedly used ammunition on the protesters. A protestor was chased down on Saturday morning. Whereas, one death has occurred in Pyaa. It is located 140 KM south of Napita, the country's capital.


According to the news website The Irawadi, the military screws up media institutions on a false charge , it has been falsely accused of breaching social peace. This is the first time since the rule of the military, not a news reporter but a media institute has faced the charges.

More than 70 died in demonstrations against the
military, the continuing protests have continued on the streets of Myanmar since the military rule and coup on 1 February. At the same time, the army is constantly pursuing a policy of repression on these protesters. Hundreds of people have taken to the streets across the country against military rule. Human rights experts in South Asian countries say that 70 people have died during the demonstrations so far. While more than 2 thousand people have been arrested. Earlier on Thursday, 7 people died during the protest.
